Our Process

At Dillard-Jones Builders, our goal is to make the home building experience enjoyable while achieving superior quality in all aspects of construction. With a limited number of home starts per year, we are the right sized builder to offer every client personal attention while obtaining the best value from our subcontractors and vendors. Our growth plan is to remain steady and measured to ensure that quality and customer service are never compromised.

Our Process begins with Lot Development and Site Design. Our services include lot evaluation for view enhancement, erosion control, and low-impact site development and preparation practices that protect mature trees and help preserve the natural aesthetics of the landscape.

The next step in Our Process is Plan Development. At Dillard-Jones Builders, we work with a team of local architects and designers to assist you in creating a custom home to match your lifestyle and budget. For those who prefer to use existing plans, we provide modification services to meet your needs. We also have built many great plans from leading architectural firms such as Euroworld Design, Living Concepts, Frank Betz, Don Gardner and Stephen Fuller. As a member of the Southern Living Custom Builder Program, we also offer numerous Southern Living house plans including those by Greenville, SC architect Bruce Eason of New South Classics.

The third step in Our Process is Construction and Project Management. At Dillard-Jones Builders, construction management begins with budgeting and project scheduling. Our customer advocate assists with selections, budgeting and quality control, and serves as your liaison with specialty contractors in the field. Our implementation procedures include daily on-site management, direct involvement from the builder, and quality control procedures.

The final step in Our Process is Post Construction. At Dillard-Jones Builders, our post construction procedures include 30- and 90-day checkups, an 11-month final inspection, and punch-list management.
