Dillard-Jones Builders Wins 2011 Pinnacle Award

GREER, SC – Dillard-Jones Builders LLC has won a 2011 Pinnacle Award from the Home Builders Association of South Carolina for The Evergreen, the company’s 2010 Southern Living Showcase Home built in the Claremont community of Greenville.

The Pinnacle Awards are given annually by the HBA of South Carolina for outstanding craftsmanship in the construction and remodeling of quality homes, and for excellence in sales and marketing throughout the state.

A custom design by The Johnston Design Group LLC of Greenville, The Evergreen is a 4,023-square-foot, open floor plan with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Special features include a chef’s kitchen, media room, study, laundry room with hobby space, and outdoor living space that includes discovery gardens, a sleeping porch, grilling area, and outdoor fireplace. The Evergreen was designed and built to provide superior energy conservation and interior air quality. The plan will be incorporated into the Southern Living collection of national house plans as the Southern Living Custom Builder Program’s first collaborative design/build project.

A member of Southern Living Custom Builder Program since 2007, Dillard-Jones was named the 2011 Southern Living Custom Builder of the Year – the only two-time winner in the program’s 18-year history, having also won the prestigious national award in 2009.
