That same year, Southern Living selected Dillard-Jones Builders to represent the magazine in the Greenville, SC market as a member of the Southern Living Custom Builder Program. Tom Dillard founded Dillard-Jones
Builders, LLC in 2004 and quickly established it as an award-winning company. A
Clemson University graduate with a degree in mechanical engineering, Thomas
brought 20 years of construction, project management and sales experience to Dillard-Jones
Builders. He is a hands-on leader who works directly with homeowners, vendor
partners, and subcontractors to stay personally involved in each Dillard-Jones

Susan Peace-Vernon is Vice President and Selections Specialist, assisting Dillard-Jones clients with budgeting, color and style selections,
and quality control. A professionally trained interior designer
who hails from a homebuilding family, Susan understands the critical relationship between construction engineering, space planning and
interior design. Susan serves as the client's daily link to
suppliers and specialty contractors in the field to ensure a smooth homebuilding process. Email Susan.
Richie Martin provides in-house design and estimating services for Dillard-Jones Builders. He also serves as a senior project manager responsible for oversight of construction projects in the field. A graduate of Clemson University,
Richie joined Dillard-Jones in 2011 after serving as a senior manager for
Allora, LLC, and designing more than 100 home plans including many in the Cliffs Communities for Donald A. Gardner Architect, a national firm. Email Richie.
Brandon Smith joined Dillard-Jones
Builders in 2013 as Designs Manager. A graduate of West Virginia University with a
degree in Interior Design, Brandon also studied architecture at Virginia Tech. Brandon has 15 years' experience in home design, having previously worked with one of the
nation's leading providers of pre-designed home plans and for a high-end
residential architectural firm. His house plans have been featured in various

JC Urps serves as Project Manager Dillard-Jones Builders. JC has 35 years of construction management
experience as a sub-contractor and business owner, serving as president of JC
Urps Inc. for 14 years. He also was a project manager for The Cliffs
Communities and a construction manager for Mt. Zion Christian Fellowship. A
skilled carpenter, JC'c custom trim and woodwork is featured in many homes

Jim Brophy serves as Lake Region Sales Specialist for Dillard-Jones Builders. Jim retired from Caterpillar Inc. after a 40-year
career serving in various executive positions including product manager,
operations director, plant manager, and managing director of a Caterpillar
subsidiary in Europe. Jim resides in The Cliffs at

Doug Walton serves a Mountain Region Sales Specialist for Dillard-Jones Builders. Doug is founder and former owner of
24K Homes in Naples, FL where he built 63 luxury custom homes in high-end country club communities. A
degreed engineer, Doug was a U.S. Marine Corps fighter pilot, flying more than
300 missions in Vietnam. Prior to his career as a custom homebuilder, Doug
was a commercial pilot for Eastern Airlines for 21 years. He resides in The Cliffs Valley in
