Tom Dillard

Tom Dillard founded Dillard-Jones Builders, LLC in 2004 and quickly established it as an award-winning company. A Clemson University graduate with a degree in mechanical engineering, Thomas brought 20 years of construction, project management and sales experience to Dillard-Jones Builders. He is a hands-on leader who works directly with homeowners, vendor partners, and subcontractors to stay personally involved in each Dillard-Jones project.

Dillard-Jones Builders was first recognized for excellence in building in 2006, receiving a prestigious Merit Award in the Home Builders Association of South Carolina Pinnacle Awards. That same year, Southern Living selected Dillard-Jones Builders to represent the magazine in the Greenville, SC market as a member of the Southern Living Custom Builder Program. In 2009, Dillard-Jones Builders became the first South Carolina homebuilder to be named a Southern Living Custom Builder of the Year. In 2011, Dillard-Jones became the first company in the 18-year history of the Southern Living Custom Builder Program to win the Builder of the Year award twice. Also in 2011, Southern Living named Dillard-Jones to represent the Custom Builder Program in the Asheville, NC market along with Greenville, SC.

A custom homebuilder with a commitment to the industry and the community, Tom and members of the Dillard-Jones Builders staff are active members of the Better Business Bureau® Upstate South Carolina, the Home Builders Association of Greenville, the Home Builders Association of South Carolina and the National Association of Home Builders.

Susan Peace-Vernon

Unique when compared with other custom homebuilding companies, Dillard-Jones Builders LLC employs a full-time customer advocate to assist homeowners with budgeting, color and style selections, and quality control. Company Vice President Susan Peace-Vernon is a professionally trained interior designer who stays abreast of the latest products, trends and installation techniques. Susan hails from a homebuilding family, which gives her a working knowledge of the critical relationship between construction engineering, space planning and interior design. Susan serves as the client's daily communications link to suppliers and specialty contractors in the field to ensure quality service, customer satisfaction and a smooth homebuilding process. 

Richie Martin

Richie Martin provides senior project management, estimating, design consultation, and plan modification services for Dillard-Jones. A graduate of Clemson University, Richie joined Dillard-Jones in 2011 after serving as a senior manager for Allora, LLC, and designing plans for Donald Gardner Architect, a national firm.

Silas Dotson

Silas Dotson was the first employee of Dillard-Jones Builders. He brings more than 30 years of construction experience to the company. Fondly known as 'Junior', he serves as our project completion specialist and punch list coordinator. An accomplished wood worker, Junior also makes all our of custom mantels, shutters, and other custom wood features.
