Dillard-Jones Builders has selected the Claremont community of Greenville as the site for its 2010 Southern Living Showcase Home, which will be open to the public Friday through Sunday November 5 until December 19.

The 2010 Southern Living Showcase Home by Dillard-Jones Builders is a custom design by Johnston Design Group, LLC of Greenville, a nationally recognized leader in sustainable architecture. A LEED For Homes project, the home is being built for green certification by the U.S. Green Building Council and EarthCraft House™ certification. It also will be incorporated into the Southern Living collection of national house plans as the Custom Builder Program’s first collaborative design/build project.

The 4,000-square-foot Southern Living Showcase Home is an open floor plan with five bedrooms and four bathrooms. Special features include a chef’s kitchen with all Viking appliances, media room, study, laundry room with hobby space, and outdoor living space that includes a screened porch and outdoor fire pit. The Showcase Home will be fully decorated by some of the area’s finest interior designers, and trimmed for the holidays.
